Residents of McLean Gardens can, if they wish, become active members of the community in a variety of ways. The Association’s Activities Committee sponsors a number of community events each year. A good number of residents are active members of Association committees. There are also neighborhood groups and organizations that include many residents of McLean Gardens.
Much informal socializing occurs at the pool during the summer and around barbecues nearly all year. Dog walking and stops to chat are a big part of community life. And when Washington gets its occasional big snow storm, folks help one another dig out cars and enjoy some cross country skiing before the city plows get to our side streets. |
