Residents of McLean Gardens are fortunate to have the 2nd District Headquarters of the DC Metropolitan Police Department nearly adjacent to its southeastern border. The nearest fire department is located just several blocks north on Wisconsin Ave.

Over decades, good relations have been built between our local police and fire stations and our community and Management of McLean Gardens. Both police and fire department officers have occasionally given presentations to residents on public and fire safety issues.
